The Verner Panton Moon pendant lamp exists in several versions made by several companies. This is one being an early edition construction in aluminium by Louis Poulsen, A step above the newer Plastic version produced by Vitra.

The Moon or Visir (the original name) pendant lamp is one of his first designs from Panton in the 60s, launched in 1961. An intriguing array of rotating rings spread evenly around the bulb, catching light in a beautiful way, and really coming to life with rotational motion.
