Green 'Disco' Wall lamp by Gianluigi Gorgoni for Stilnovo
Designer: Gianluigi Gorgoni
Maker: Stilnovo - Italy (made under licence locally in Auckland)
Year: 1977
Size: H/W 400 x D 100 (without bulb)
Condition: New old stock, boxed and unused.
.
The ‘Disco’ is a large tulip shaped wall or ceiling lamp. Composed entirely out of aluminium and finished in a lovely green tone. The lamp utilises a standard fixing plate which allows it to sit slightly proud of the surface, appearing to float just subtly off the wall
Uniquely, this particular version was a licensed local production, made right here in Auckland in the 70s. Boxed and unused, it is in perfect condition.
With no visible cables, this is something that will be wired directly into the wall or ceiling, and requires professional installation.
