Very rare original ‘Kone’ chairs produced by Descon in Sydney. Each seat is formed from a single sheet of aircraft grade plywood, bent into a sleek cone shape. A black steel frame provides the support, fixed with hook connectors at the front and rear of the seat.

An important Australian design, the chairs epitomise the local postwar era and innovative use of industrial materials.
